Dear Baby,

Oh my darling girl, my heart skips a beat each time I think about your soon arrival! It seems like your birthday has been a long time in coming! (Your Mama gets so impatient about these things!) I lay in bed each night and dream of seeing you for the first time. I trace your legs and arms with my fingers as you kick and squirm. You are so full of life sweet girl. Such a gift. A treasure beyond worth. 

I can't see you yet, but I know you are beautiful. You have been crafted by our Lord, and nothing He creates is anything but lovely. I thank Him each day for you and for choosing us to be your family. You are so incredibly loved little one and I can't wait to know you in a totally new and different way then I know you know. 

Precious girl, my heart is full of prayers for you. That the Lord would call you at a young age and you would be full of passionate fire for Christ. Prayers that life will be easy for you and you will know little pain in this world. Prayers for joy. Prayers for health. I can't wait to be your friend and to hear all your little secrets and girly dreams. I can't wait to explore this life with you! I can't wait to have that relationship with you that I so desire, and pray that I will always be a Mom that you can come to and share the things that are closest to your heart. 

I can't wait to see you in your little pink cowgirl boots and wonder if you'll be all girly or have a bit of tomboy thrown in for good measure! I love you just the way you are Baby and cannot wait to go through life with you.
